The Long Beach race circuit is a temporary road course laid out in the city streets surrounding the Long Beach Convention Center. The track is particularly noted for its last section, a sharp hairpin turn followed by a long, slightly curved front straightaway which runs the length of Shoreline Drive. The circuit is situated on the Long Beach waterfront.

Pit exit

The pit exit at Long Beach is delineated by a line separating it from the racing track. In real life, it is against the rules to cross this line in order to take the first corner wider. However, this is very difficult for us to enforce, so we are not bothering. iRacing does enforce this itself, and since safety isn’t an issue for us, please just be careful when you see someone exiting the pits. Drivers exiting the pits have the right of way. Common sense prevails. Don’t do anything stupid 😛
